Saucy Ground Beef and Noodles
Ingredients
- 1lb lean (at least 80%) ground beef
- 1medium onion, chopped (1/2 cup)
- 1medium bell pepper, chopped (1 cup)
- 3cups uncooked extra-wide egg noodles (5 oz)
- 2 1/2cups water
- 1/2teaspoon Italian seasoning
- 1jar (25.5 oz) Muir Glen™ tomato basil pasta sauce or marinara sauce
- 1jar (4.5 oz) sliced mushrooms, drained
Steps
1 In 4-quart Dutch oven, cook beef, onion and bell pepper over medium heat 8 to 10 minutes, stirring occasionally, until beef is thoroughly cooked; drain.
2 Stir in remaining ingredients. Heat to boiling, stirring occasionally. Reduce heat; simmer uncovered 10 to 12 minutes or until noodles are tender.
